HARTFORD CONSTRUCTION JOBS INITIATIVE (HCJI): trains and places city residents into construction-related careers.

Recognizing the need to increase employment potential through training and development has been a vital component of this program. Also of key importance have been strong communication networks with construction industry leaders.

HCJI's success emanates from the dedication of its participants and the leadership provided by trained experts and professionals in the construction industry, City and State officials and the community. The program recruits, assesses, trains, places city residents into construction careers and provides a coordinated system of support service.
